Op 8, 9 en 10 mei 2009 vindt voor de 17e keer Huntenkunst plaats. Huntenkunst is een internationale beurs. Deze eigentijdse manifestatie bestrijkt alle disciplines in de beeldende kunst, zoals beelden, schilderijen, fotografiek, grafiek, mediakunst en nog veel meer.

Van de 160 exposanten is doorgaans de helft afkomstig uit het buitenland. Dat maakt de manifestatie tot een uniek gebeuren. Opmerkelijk daarbij is, dat de kunstenaars zelf aanwezig zijn. Zo ontstaat er tijdens Huntenkunst een bijzondere en inspirerende uitwisseling tussen de exposanten en het publiek en tussen de exposanten onderling. Spannend is het om te ervaren hoe iedere kunstenaar uiting geeft aan zijn of haar gevoel. De herkomst van de kunstenaar neemt daarbij vanzelfsprekend een belangrijke plaats in.

Huntenkunst will be arranged for the seventeenth time. Huntenkunst is an art festival that includes all disciplines within the field of visual arts, paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, video art, etc.

Approximately 160 artists take part in this art festival. More than half of them come from outside the Netherlands. Unique to Huntenkunst is that the works are presented by the artists themselves. This allows the artists to get to know and interact with each other as well as with the public.

Huntenkunst can be considered a mixture between an exhibition and an art fair, a true international meeting place, with contemporary art in focus.

The selection is based on several criteria. The most important one is quality and secondly much attention is paid to the diversity of the proposed works.
