Bolokonondo

Bolokonondo is a rytm from the Malinke culture from West africa.
It's part of a family of rythms called Dunumba's. They are the dances of the strong men.
What I did here withe the music is to convert the whole rythmic structure in an orchestral setting,slightly influenced by the music of Steve Reich.
This video is part of a collaboration with Susana Weingarten called Five knights and a muse. I am responsible for the music while she is responsible for the dance.
